Who is this for?

✔ The person living their life in chronic pain.

Whether you have experienced a severe injury, surgery gone right, surgery gone wrong, or have taken chronic pain on through years of overextending yourself, I get it. If you are trying to make it through life by sucking your gut in and poking your chest out, gritting your teeth, and shouldering through, come see me.

✔ The person who has already tried everything else.

Maybe you have tried everything you can imagine (even massage!) and nothing has helped, at least not long term, and surgery is looking you right in the eyeballs... come see me. I'm not promising I can fix it, but I'd love for you to live life without surgical intervention, if at all possible, and sometimes one last try is all you need!

✔ The person who doesn't know what else to do.

Chronic pain is exhausting. I want to help you feel more like yourself.

What services are available?

At Sheridan Massage Therapy, each massage therapy session is a journey toward healing and resolution. Working from a problem-solving perspective, I specialize in targeting the root cause of chronic pain, helping you uncover the underlying issues that lead to discomfort. By focusing on these core problems, we create an opportunity for true healing and lasting relief. In every session, I use all the training and tools I have collected over the last eight years to provide you with a customized treatment plan that will help you get relief from chronic back and hip pain. Most people just want to get relief and don't really care how they get it, but if you are looking for a specific technique (modality), I have listed a few below that I utilize in my sessions.

ᨒ Craniosacral Fascial Therapy

Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT) is a gentle, hands-on approach that helps release tension in the body by working with the connective tissue (fascia) and the natural rhythms of the craniosacral system (head, spine, and sacrum). It can help improve movement, reduce pain, and promote deep relaxation by allowing the body to unwind and restore balance. Many people find it helpful for headaches, stress, tension, and overall well-being.

ᨒ Myofascial Release

Myofascial Release is a gentle, hands-on technique that helps relieve tension and pain by working with the fascia—the connective tissue that surrounds and supports muscles and organs. By applying sustained pressure to areas of tightness or restriction, this therapy encourages the fascia to soften and lengthen, improving mobility, reducing discomfort, and restoring natural movement. It’s especially helpful for chronic pain, stiffness, and postural imbalances.

ᨒ Structural Integration

Structural Integration is a hands-on therapy that focuses on aligning and balancing the body by working with the fascia—the connective tissue that supports muscles, organs, and structure. Through deep, precise pressure and movement education, it helps release tension, improve posture, and restore natural movement. It’s a systematic approach that aims to create balance and efficiency in the body, reducing pain and enhancing overall well-being.

About me

Hello! You're here! Some massage therapists grow up knowing they want to be a massage therapist, but that wasn't the case for me. I had been told I had strong hands and that I'd make a great massage therapist, my aunt was a massage therapist, so the thought was there, but it wasn't until I was sitting in the dark winter of Alaska, 2015, when I thought, "Well, why not?"I graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts in Portland, Oregon, in 2017 and I haven't looked back! It was in those 12 months that I became captivated by how the body works, how it moves and functions in space and time, and how manual manipulation can exponentially increase a persons quality of life.Massage Therapy taught me how to listen, how to problem solve, and how to overcome the mental and physical limitations we put on ourselves as human beings.I also learned there isn't a lot of safe touch available out there in the world, and am determined to make massage therapy a safe and educated experience for every person that trusts me on my table.People are hurting, and I have a solution.
